New York Medical College is the academic sponsor of this family medicine residency program. Founded in 1860, New York Medical College (NYMC) is a respected leader in educating physicians, scientists and health care professionals among many of the nation’s most influential health care and biomedical research institutions.
Phelps Hospital is the primary clinical site for the family medicine residency program.
Phelps is a 238-bed acute care community hospital located in Sleepy Hollow, New York, offering its community one of the most comprehensive ranges of hospital programs and services in Westchester County.
Open Door Family Medical Centers
When it comes to family medicine, Open Door Family Medical Centers is a model for many of the most humane, effective and efficient methods of patient care available today. Our residents train in Open Door’s Sleepy Hollow site.
Open Door was the 2010 winner of the HIMSS Davies Award for innovative use of health information technology and received the highest Recognition as a Patient-Centered Medical Home from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
